Mount Warning Community Preschool was built by local community members and continues to grow in this way.

I was introduced to Mt Warning Community Preschool in 2012 by friends who highly recommended checking it out. I was sold when I saw the beautiful location and met the most amazing preschool staff. I joined the Committee in 2013 and haven't looked back since!

I am a bubbly, cheery, and outgoing person. I enjoy being outdoors, taking in fresh air and absorbing what is around me. My 3 children keep me on my toes, and we love being creative and adventurous.

Before having children I worked as a Gymnastics coach and Outdoor Sports Instructor/Youth Worker. I love working with people of all ages, and especially enjoy organising fun events for people to remember.

Having moved from the UK in 2008 and living in Murwillumbah since 2010, the Preschool Community have played a big part in meeting so many wonderful people, and making lifelong friends aswell as lasting friendships for my 2 older children who loved their time at Preschool.

It is an honour to be elected as President of the Management Committee. I am passionate and dedicated to fulfilling the role, by contributing all my best qualities to see Mt Warning Community Preschool continue to grow, and provide the most memorable experience in early childhood education.

Vice President

Renee lives locally and has been an active part of the Mt Warning Community Preschool community and committee for the last 5 years.

“There were so many things that were ‘just right’ for my family here, right from day one. The whole feel of the preschool was appealing – an all encompassing experience for our children. With the amazing outdoor playing area, a big focus on our natural world, fun physical activity, great arts and craft and so much encouragement for the kids to get their hands dirty and have a go. The staff too are like family, so caring and nurturing and full of want to contribute positively in our children’s lives. I really do just love it – I want to stay all day and be a pre-schooler too! I am really proud to be a part of and to support MWCP, and look forward to doing so for many more years to come.”

Hi, it is a privilege to be a part of the Mt Warning Preschool Management Committee and Mt Warning Preschool community. My family moved to the area from Brisbane last year. On our first visit to Mt Warning Preschool we were instantly welcomed and felt so comfortable in the gorgeous space. My daughter loves coming to preschool and my son really enjoys playgroup and making friends with all the preschool children. I am most impressed with how caring and respectful the staff are towards the children.

I am a Social Worker and hold various roles including working for Southern Cross University and linked with the wonderful community initiative It Takes A Town. I have a great passion for early childhood education and enjoy being able to contribute to Mt Warning Preschool.
